                   క ఒత్తు “   ”.         “    “ is the sign/symbol to write “ottu “of “ka”. It is called ka-ottu.
                   మార్కులు – (mA-rku-lu). ఈ పదంలో -
                   మ్ + ఆ     = మా (మ-కార ఆ-కారాల “మా”) (ma-kAra A-kArAla mA).                                             
                                                                                                                      Vowels have 
                                                                                                                       no pollulu. 
                              “మ్” is called “మ” pollu. See below for explanation on “పొ ల్లు ”.
                   ర్ +  క్  + ఉ = ర్ +    + ఉ = ర్కు. ఇకుడ “క్” వత్తుగా మార్కత్తంది (here “ka” changes to its ottu)
                              (ర-కార, క-కార, ఉ-కారాల “ర్కు”. ర, క, ఉ శబ్దాలను ఆ క్రమంలో ఒకేసారి పలకాలి)
                              (ra-kAra ka-kAra u-kArAla “rku”. Utter ra, ka, u sounds in that order together)
                              ల్ + ఉ  = లు (ల-కార ఉ-కారాల “లు”)(la-kAra u-kArAla lu)
       పొలుు/pollu
                   ప్రతి హలుుకి మూల శబ్ాం ఉంటంది. దాన్ని ఒక అచ్చుతో కలిపి పలుకుతం. అలా కాకుండా కేవలం హలుు 
                   శబ్దాన్ని పలకాలంటే అచ్చున్న సూచంచే గుర్కున్న తీసి ఆ హలుు పైన “్  ”  గుర్కు వ్రాయాలి. దాన్ని ఆ హలుు యొకు
                   “పొలుు” అంటార్క. ప్రతి హలుుకి పొలుు ఉంటంది.పొలుులను పలకడం మందు ప పటికలకలోు డండంి.
                   Every consonant has a root sound. It is pronounced along with a vowel. Instead if you 
                   wish to utter only the base sound, then you should replace the vowel sign with “్ ”. It 
                   is called the “pollu” of that letter.
