NICE guidelines recommend CBT for a wide range of mental disorders. It is
commonly used as a psychological treatment for:
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Phobias (including Social Phobia)
• Panic Disorder
• OCD
• GAD
• PTSD
• Schizophreniform disorders
• Bipolar Disorder
• Problems associated with some personality disorders (BPD, APD)
• Pain management
