Session Goals
• To present key considerations in the economic justification of
new or expanded clinical pharmacy services (CPS).
• To describe the core elements of a business plan for CPS, and
the steps necessary to conduct business planning.
• To provide examples of business plans, including the financial
and return on investment analyses important to a CPS business
plan.
• To review important considerations for successfully presenting
the business plan to financial decision makers.
