* Cough * Drink fluids * Symptoms have lasted longer than 3 weeks
* High temp * Speak to pharmacist re: OTC medication * Coughing up blood
* Pressure in ears/face * Symptoms can last longer in children
Conjunctivitis * Itchy/watery eyes Under 2yrs - triage. Over 2yrs - pharmacy * Loss of vision/sensitive to light
* Sticky coating on eyelashes
* Burning sensation
Constipation Common and usually harmless. Should settle within a * Symptoms have lasted longer than 6 weeks

Minor Burns and Scalds Patient Action: * Chemical/electrical burns

blisters

Oral Thrush Adults Patient Action:
* red mouth & white patches * Patient to check self care leaflet for advice on
* cracks at corners of mouth prevention
* things not tasting properly * Speak to pharmacist re: OTC medication if
* unpleasant taste in mouth symptoms are no better in 7-10 days
* pain e.g. sore gums/tongue * If recurrent bouts - routine appointment with GP
* difficulty eating & drinking who may request blood tests
Kids
* white coating on tongue
* don't want to feed
* nappy rash
Sleeping Problems Routine appointment * Linked to bereavement/depression/mental health
Sore Throat Extremely common and likely to get better in 3-7 * Drooling/difficult to swallow - urgent!

* Worms in poo (look like white thread) treatment
* Speak to pharmacist re: OTC medication - very
easy to treat. Will be advised to treat all members of
the household
