Activity 1: What is Leadership?
1. Think about people who have influenced your life. Write in the box below a list of their
leadership traits.
2. Think about how your members would answer this question: Who would you choose as a
person who has influenced you and what traits do they have? What responses do you think
they would have? In what way would a young person’s responses be different than yours?
Write down your thoughts.
You can test your thoughts by asking young people in your club this question the next time
you meet with them.
