Homeworkcation Planner
How to Use this Planner
1. Start with the brainstorming worksheet.
• Write down a list of top priority work you want to complete
during your homeworkcation. These will be your non-
negotiable projects. Limit this list to 5 projects maximum.
• Additional work or project ideas can go in the “Bonus Work”
column. These are nice-to-have projects you’ll complete time
permitting.
• Also brainstorm a list of “play ideas.” You’ll need work breaks
and this is still a type of vacation. So plan out some fun things
to do in-between projects.
2.Fill out the time blocking calendar.
• Start by blocking off time for your top priority work. Make sure
you allow enough time to finish each project. (Tip: It’s a good
idea to front-load your most important projects, but don’t put
too much on any one day.)
• Next, fill in your play times. Every top priority project should be
followed by a fun activity.
• Lastly, fill extra available time with bonus work. Again, make
sure the time you allot for each activity is realistic. Fight the
temptation to plan more work than you can actually complete.
