Brief History
•
Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI) was designed
in 2007 to train the staff of Campus Crusade in
Southern & Eastern Africa (SEA)
•
First Cohort 2008-2010 (for SEA)
•
Second cohort: 2010-2013 (SEA and West
Africa)

Third cohort: 2014-2016 (SEA and West Africa)
•
Most graduates are at national, continental and
global leadership positions

Description
• Duration: a-two-year intentional and intensive
transformational leadership training and coaching
of carefully selected emerging leaders (25-35
years old)
• Focus: character development, spiritual
formation, and critical skills of personal and
5 organizational leadership, resource mobilization
and leadership development
• Structure: three modules of 10-day residential
and one module of online
