       • April 4th - Training Session 1 via Zoom   7pm-8:30pm
       • April 5th – Makeup Date:  Training Session 1 via Zoom   7pm-8:30pm
       • April 11th - Training Session 2 via Zoom   7pm-8:30pm
       • April 12th – Makeup Date:  Training Session 2 via Zoom   7pm-8:30pm

    • Q: Will I be able to ref ESC games?
      A: The ESA Junior referee program does NOT allow you to ref ESC games. 
    • Q: What is the age requirement?
      A: 11
    • Q: Will I get paid for games?
      A: Yes, games start at $16/game.
    • Q: What will the training cover?
      A: Role of a referee, proper attire, age group rules, payments, and more.
    • Q: How do I sign up for a game?
      A: Register on Game Officials at: www.gameofficials.net
    • Q: Is there a uniform requirement?
      A: Yes. The ESA approved Jr. referee t-shirt, black shorts, and black socks are required. (A t-shirt and whistle will 
      be provided)  
    • Q: What do we do next?
      A: 1. Attend 2 virtual training courses, and one on-field session.
           2. Register on Game Officials (reference the Game Officials Resource document located on the ESA site)

    CERTIFIED REFEREES
    The Minnesota State Referee Committee has made a few changes to the referee 
    process:
     • Age requirement: 13
     • All new referee requirements can be completed ONLINE at 
      MinnesotaSRC.com 
     • You can complete the process at your own pace, all online. 
     • New Referee certification must be completed on a yearly basis
     • You can earn $16+ per game
